9812 is a very correct calf. She and her dam had to be moved to a poor pasture in the late summer through early fall of 1998, and that caused her weaning weight to be lower than it would otherwise have been. However, she did some catching up before she was a year old. I think she would even be competitive in the show ring this year. This pedigree combines Optimum with two low birthweight bulls, Feltons 517 and Network. Optimum has proven to nick well with both of these bulls. 9810 is a 7/8 sib. She is in the top 1/3 of the breed for every trait. That is the kind of complete performance we should all seek.
